S. Avetisyan on enrollments: “It is normal, everybody does like that” (video)
Yelk (Way out) is the political power, which can bring changes both with its program and its team, says lawmaker’s candidate of the alliance Hayk Konjoryan, “The course of campaign is hopeful, people are more conscious than in the past. Now people can see everything. I assess our chances high, I hope we will mobilize the people, who are ready to vote for changes.” Republican lawmaker’s candidate Sukias Avetisyan, assessing their chances normal, is sure that his party will achieve success, “I think just in the first round we will enter parliament with majority.” In reply to the question by “A1+” on how the candidates can comment on the records of the teachers, where they unwillingly confess that they enrolled people for the Republican Party, Republican Sukias Avetisyan answered, “Many people aren’t aware of the Republican Party’s party structure, if they knew they wouldn’t make it scandalous. I manage two HHK headquarters in Gyumri, Shirak marz and those two structures aren’t just formal. Director of the school Ghazaryan Arthur says that he had given the list to Sukias Avetisyan; whom else should he have given the list? I would be surprised if he had given it to someone else. Before being a Director of the school, he is a member of our party and an employee of the structure, he must enroll Republicans; among them there may be teachers and parents. They are also free citizens and can be partisans.” Lawmaker’s candidate from Yelk doesn’t consider all this to be normal. He thinks that the directors abused their administrative resources, “In the face of Karen Karapetyan and ‘LoveArmenia’ writings they say that everything is different, but it is a fact that nothing has changed; all the methods of the HHK remained the same. They try to hold the power the way they came to the power. People should understand that if they are again elected, nothing will change in the country.” Republican candidate opposed, “There are many newly established parties and alliances, which don’t know what the party is in political sense and have no idea how everything is done.” In reply to the clarification by “A1+” how one of the directors of Gyumri’s schools said that they frightened everybody and everything would be normal, Sukias Avetisyan answered, “If they say we frightened, they should know whom and for what. I say for myself, it is normal, all the parties do like that.”
