Styopa Safaryan expects serious support from Avan district (video)
The Free Democrats Party today held a campaign rally in Yerevan’s Avan administrative district. The party's parliamentary candidate Styopa Safaryan says it is not his first meeting with the voters of the district. He received the highest number of votes in Avan in the 2012 elections. “In 2012, I received 10 000 votes in Avan. I have great hopes that people will appreciate my activity of the previous years. I expect serious support from Avan,” he said. The candidate says they have revised the mistakes of the previous elections and pledges to justify the hopes of voters. “I have met many voters from this constituency who are disappointed with the results of the previous elections, especially with the number of ballots cast for me and Anahit Bakhshyan. We are already correcting our mistakes, and if people like us as MPs, I announce that we have good positions [on the party’s ticket] and they should trust us,” Mr Safaryan said.
