Pashik Alaverdyan did not call up Arakel Mirzoyan
Armenian weightlifters are preparing for the European Championships in Croatia. Six weightlifters - Andranik Karapetyan (85 kg), Karush Ghukasyan (94 kg), Simon Martirosyan (105 kg), Sargis Gasparyan (105 kg), Gor Minasyan (+105 kg) and Ruben Alexanyan (+105 kg) will represent Armenia in men’s competitions. Men'steam chief coach Pashik Alaverdyan has not called up Arakel Mirzoyan, who had a failure in Rio 2016. The women’s team comprises Izabella Yalyan (58 kg), Sona Poghosyan (75 kg) and Tatev Hakobyan (90 kg). The team will leave for Croatia on April 2.
