Karabakh: Serviceman killed by Azerbaijani shelling
Azerbaijani armed forces continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact since 11:25 am, firing 10 shells in the direction of Armenian defense positions from 60mm and 82mm mortars, SPG-9 recoilless guns and GP-25 grenade launchers. As a result of the shelling initiated by the enemy, contract serviceman of the Artsakh Defense Army, Nver Babajanyan (born in 1980), received a fatal wound in the southeast (Martuni) direction of the frontline at about 4:50 pm. An investigation has been launched into the incident. The Defense Ministry shares the grief of the loss and extends its support to the family members, relatives and fellow servicemen of the deceased.
