Republican MP Gagik Minasyan reminds everyone that both the bribe giver and the bribe taker [in the upcoming parliamentary elections] will be subjected to criminal liability. He advises citizens to turn to the police in such cases. There are cases when bribery is presented as an act of charity. “If you give charity to another person, I see nothing objectionable in it. If the other does not want, he will not accept your charity. But suppose someone has taken bribes and is forced to vote for a certain political force, it is useless, there are no mechanisms of control, it is simply excluded,” he said. Speaking about the recent tensions along the Line of Contact, Mr Minasyan said Azerbaijan will suffer losses for its adventurism on the frontline. “If we wait for the resumption of war every day, we can postpone the resumption of war,” he said in conclusion.
