Situation remained tense on Karabakh frontline overnight
The situation remained tense along the Line of Contact between Azerbaijani and Karabakh armed forces overnight, Nagorno-Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense reports. Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 1100 rounds against Armenian defense positions from infantry and artillery weapons. The Ministry says that in addition to various mortars and D-44 cannons, the Azerbaijani military fired 5 rockets from TR 107 rocket launcher system in the south-eastern direction (Martuni). Yesterday, Azerbaijan fired a SPIKE anti-tank guided missile in the same direction. The NKR forces had no losses in the violations. The advance frontline units of the NKR Defense Army opened retaliatory fire when necessary in order to suppress the enemy’s activity. The situation is calm along the Line of Contact now.
