Earthquake hits Armenia’s Syunik marz
A 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit Syunik marz at 10:17 am Yerevan time (GMT 06:17), the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. The epicenter of the tremor was 5 km northwest of Kapan town. The hypocenter was 10 km beneath the surface. Underground jolts measuring magnitude 4-5 were also felt in Goris and Kajaran. A magnitude 3.3 aftershock followed the quake some time later. No casualties or damages are reported.
