AR MoD: Adversary sustains one loss
On February 22-23 overnight on the Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, the adversary continued intensively violating the ceasefire regime from D-44 cannons, mortars and different caliber rifle weapons, firing more than 1600 shots in the direction of the Armenian positions. In particular in the eastern and north-eastern directions the Azerbaijani armed forces used D-44 cannon and different caliber mortars, in total firing 62 shells, 10 from cannon and 52 from mortars. In order to suppress adversary’s attacking activity, the DA vanguard units took preventive actions, and as a result of them the adversary sustained at least one victim, as earlier reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
