Problems are being solved in Nubarashen penitentiary
The lawyer of Ashot Petrosyan, a member of the Sasna Dzrer group who is serving his prison sentence in Nubarashen penitentiary institution, today told the media that the cell where Petrosyan is kept is deprived of living conditions. There is no water in the cell. Besides, one of the windows does not have glass. The Department of Penitentiary Institutions of the Minsitry of Justice has answered the lawyer’s concern saying that smoking inmates decided to replace the glass with cardboard in order to air the cell. Prison officers spotted it in time and again fastened glass to the window frame. At the same time, the press service of the demartment says that water flows without interruption though very slowly because of low water pressure. At present, they are trying to solve the problem.
