Alarming figures: Pashinyan says 7000 voters have changed address (video)
Over 7000 voters have changed their address from January 10 to February 10, Armenian lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan, a member of the Yelk (Way Out) alliance said today. “Theproblem is that large companies are changing the place of registration of their employees. The directors of these companies either support a definite force or are themselves candidates [in the upcoming parliamentary elections],” he said. Pashinyan says though the Electoral Code allows changing the address, we should analyze its influence on the free will of citizens. “I do not want to make final conclusions but the figures are alarming in terms of impact on the election results," he said.
