Arayik Khandoyan (nicknamed Lone Wolf), one of the members of the Sasna Dzrer group that attacked and occupied a Yerevan police station in July, has started a hunger strike in prison, his lawyer Arayik Papikyan told A1+ Company. With the move, he expresses his support for Artur Sargsyan, best known as “bringer of bread” who drove his car through a police cordon to deliver food to the armed members group during their two-week standoff with law enforcement forces. Sargsyan, himself has been on hunger strike for eight days. He went on a hunger strike on Feb. 10 one day after he was again arrested by Armenian law-enforcement authorities. Ashot Petrosyan, another member of the Sasna Dzrer group, has been staging a hunger strike since Feb. 15 in support of Sargsyan.
