Karine Hakobyan of the Armenian Revival Party (HVK) says the political forces which were to be represented in the National Assembly from the very beginning, will participate in the 2017 parliamentary elections.
“Such mechanisms have been established for 25 years and more which disallow the best [candidates] to take seats in parliament,” Karine Hakobyan told journalists today adding that she does not see alliances or forces that allied around ideas.
Former deputy head of the National Security Service Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, another participant of the press conference, said it is more important that political forces represented in the National Assembly unite to save Artsakh. “The Madrid Principles will be imposed on us on May or June. If the package is laid on the table, we shall lose Artsakh and Armenia,” he stressed.
