Oskanian opposes Hayrikyan’s formulations (video)
Aram Avetisyan from Charentsavan joined Consolidation Party with the words of the famous song in his mind, “Unite Vardanank and become a single force.” The young man is taking part in the founding conference of Consolidation Party’s Youth Union. He is here to restore justice in the country. Aram knows from where to start, “Soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, are now in prisons, it is already injustice.” The young people in Consolidation formed leading bodies. Members of the Board and its Head were elected. Statements were made, “Dear young people, don’t believe in the rumors as if the authorities resort to changes; illegitimate authorities cannot do anything for the people.” Consolidation Party continues negotiations with the political forces over the joint alliance. As of now there are no active interactions with Tsarukyan alliance, but negotiations are underway with “Heritage”. Here Zaruhi Postanjyan opposes the alliance. Vartan Oskanian says, “For me all the personal opinions are comprehensible and respectful, so let’s wait for the final decision.” Former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan is also in the alliance with the force headed by Vartan Oskanian. The latter, though, still refraines from public activities. Recently Head of National Self-determination Union (AIM) Paruyr Hayrikyan has announced the possibility of leaving Oskanian-Ohanyan alliance. He said that the process of forming the electoral list resembles scramble. “The word scramble is not correct,-opposes Oskanian,- it is natural that each political force moves forward its issues; all they will be combined, and the political forces will make a final decision whether they want to remain in the alliance or not.” Soon the name of the alliance formed around Consolidation Party will be announced. The names of powers, which have joined it, will finally become known. Vartan Oskanian stated that they are not in a hurry to form the joint list. When it is finalized, they will present it to the Central Electoral Committee. Political forces have 7 days for it.
