Armenian GM Karen Grigoryan lost to his Turkish opponent

Armenian chess players Karen H Grigoryan and Tigran K Harutyunyan continue the fight for champion’s title in Portugal Open 2017. After the six rounds, the tournament is led by Venezuelan Eduardo Iturrizaga who won all games. Serbian chess player Milos Perunovic comes second. In Round 6, Armenian GM Karen Grigoryan lost to Batuhan Dastan of Turkey and came 25th with 4 points. Tigran Harutyunyan bettered his position and advanced to the 13th place after winning his Round 6 game. In Round 7, Harutyunyan will face FIDE master Faruk Ozer (Turkey) and Grigoryan will compete with Pierre-Basile Coiffait (France).
