“National Agreement” party joins “Tsarukyan” alliance. Aram Harutyunyan, who has participated in two parliamentary and three presidential elections, is sure that Tsarukyan is returning to end what he left unfinished on February 18, 2015. “Chess game was postponed in February and now that game restarts,” says Aram Harutyunyan. Aram Harutyunyan cannot remain indifferent towards activation of Gagik Tsarukyan. National Agreement in 2015 was among the powers, which resorted to the regime change with Tsarukyan. He is sure this time Tsarukyan will not surrender. “By saying radical, we always understand swearing at the president or other official, but it isn’t that way. Radical means that you don’t compromise for a mandate.” Aram Harutyunyan hasn’t met with Gagik Tsarukyan and hasn’t spoken about their plans. But he already has a decision of joining that alliance not for personal interest. “I am not solving the issue of a mandate; I am ready in that team to be the last in the list, as I am not interested in a mandate. I want to promote so that the authorities are changed as a result of elections,” he says. Due to bad work with the society, the presence of powers in the National Assembly isn’t ensured. Free Democrats Party faces a threat of not appearing in the parliament. Stepan Safaryn neglects such a risk. He can see the way out of realizing his ideas passing a route with this power. “We cannot join such alliances, which are against the establishment of a state of the European model, which vote for reduction of Armenia’s sovereignty.” Stepan Safaryan could have joined “Yelk” (Way out) alliance, but which wasn’t possible. “Their principles of formation of the list of alliances were different, exceptionally by their party lists. Yet Khachatur Kokobelyan has offered a freer platform,” says Stepan Safaryan. The registration of parties for participation in elections has kicked off today. They have only 10 days left to finalize their lists. By the way, only in case of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) it is clear who will head the list. The campaign will be headed by Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
