The Government has already approved the RA draft law on “Architectural activities”, which has been developed for about 8 years, “This law will not only protect the architects, but will also make them be qualified and diligent,” today architect Sashur Kalashyan told the journalists. According to the speaker, the draft is based on international experience, “We were among the last countries, which remained in the legal field of architecture’s Soviet rules. This draft is based on international experience, in particular that of France. We have localized the provisions of this draft, adapting them to our size, form and contents.” This law has been drafted both by architects and specialists from the Ministry of Urban Development.
