Action in Istanbul in memory of Hrant Dink (video)
Action dedicated to the 10th year of death of founder of “Agos” newspaper Hrant Dink is underway in Istanbul. Strict police control has been set in Sisli district. The law enforcement bodies starting from the morning have closed the avenues leading to “Agos” editorial. Commemoration ceremonies dedicated to Dink will be held also in Ankara, Berlin, Paris, Lion, Vienna, Toronto and Ottawa. On this occasion Dunja Mijatovic, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, made a statement. She called on Turkish authorities to activate the efforts for revealing masterminds behind the killing of Armenian intellectual.
