Wounded soldier 'in serious condition'
The First Garrison Investigation Department has launched an investigation into the circumstances of an incident which left conscript Gurgen Sargsyan wounded in a military unit in Artaskh, Armenia’s Investigative Committee reports. According to preliminary data, Sargsyan was wounded while on patrol at a military unit at around 11.55 p.m. on January 16 as a result of a breach of rules for handling weapons by a junior sergeant. The wounded soldier was taken to a military hospital where his condition was described as grave.
