Spain disapproves FIFA President's decision
Spain's professional football league is going to appeal FIFA’s decision to increase the number of participants in the World Cup. La Liga President Javier Tebas is going to apply to the courts in Brussels and Neon. FIFA’s new president, Gianni Infantino, has been informed about the decision, Marca newspaper reports. The source says Javier Tebas has strongly condemned Infantino’s proposal to increase the number of participants to 48 teams. The Spaniard says when taking the decision FIFA’s governing council did not consider the interests of national leagues.
