Henrikh Mkhitaryan named Armenia's Player of Year

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, captain of the Armenian National Football Team and midfielder of Manchester United, has been named Armenia’s Best Footballer of 2016, after receiving 245 points out of 250 possible. This is the 7th time Mkhitaryan wins Player of the Year award and the sixth in a row. Gevorg Ghazaryan, who plays for Portuguese Maritimo, comes 2nd,with 56 points, while Marcos Pizelli of Al-Fujeira was placed 3rd with 45 points. Vardan Bichakhchyan, head coach of FC Shirak, has been named Coach of the Year. Abraham Khashmanyan, former head coach of FC Alashhkert, is the 2nd with 122 points, followed by Artur Voskanyan, head coach of Armenian U-21 and FC Banants, who got 59 points.
