Opposition trio signs memorandum (video)
Bright Armenia, Civil Contract and Republic parties signed a memorandum of political cooperation. Mane Tandilyan, member of Bright Armenia party, read the text of the memorandum, where it is particularly noted; three forces will participate jointly in the NA elections and Yerevan Council of Elders’ elections, as well as they will discuss the issue of creating one joint party.
After the signing of the memorandum, Sasun Mikayelyan, Chairman of Board of Civil Contract party, noted in his speech, “God bless so that we save the Republic of Armenia. I call on all the freedom fighters to support us.”
Chairman of Republic party Aram Sargsyan noted that in their 15 years’ history it is their third alliance, “Initially there was Justice alliance; then the Armenian National Congress (HAK), with which we had serious disagreements. This alliance differs as it has been established on the ideological basis.”
Chairman of Bright Armenia party Edmon Marukyan noted in his speech that they have never been for hatred and believe in cooperation of bright ideas, “As flawless opposition representatives we should fight against the authorities. With this union we will be able to fulfill our objectives in a short period.”
