Center of dreamers has financial problems
For already two years Mughdusyan Center for Arts has united children from different social classes, creating atmosphere of equality.
The Center of Arts celebrates its two years with the exhibition of handicrafts by the children.
The center has arts clubs of painting, sculpture and ceramic art. “Thanks to the parents, who pay, we buy necessary items- paints, brushes etc,” says founder of the center Mariam Mughdusyan, “Our center is for dreamers; two years ago no one believed that we would achieve success, but today we have 37 pupils and this number will grow.”
The Center has financial problems; especially there are problems with renting the territory. Until now that problem was solved thanks to the payments by the members of the adults’ group, “Taking into account our ideology and goals, our pupils periodically visit cultural centers of the capital, I am especially grateful to journalists, whose articles make us known,” says Mariam Mughdusyan.
Children, who need special care, also develop their talents in this center; special trainings are organized for them with the participation of psychologists and pedagogues.
“We invite people, who have achieved success in the cultural sphere; they give master classes to our pupils; we have pupils, who will certainly continue their education in the sphere of fine arts at university level, we do our best to prepare them for university life.
By the way, all the employees of the center work on voluntary basis.
