Levon Aronian defeats Michael Adams
Armenia’s strongest chess player Levon Aronian started London Chess Classic with victory. In the first round he faced GM Michael Adams from England. Levon Aronian played with white pieces. In the 41st step Michael Adams playing with black pieces had to surrender. Vladimir Kramnik and Wesley So also gained victories in the first round.
