Berd-Chambarak roadway and Vardenyats mountain pass were heavy-going as of 9:30 a.m., this according to the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies. Black-ice is formed on Gavar-Martuni, Stepanav-Tashir, Vayk-Saravan, Sisian-Goris roadways, Dilijan turns and Vardenyats mountain pass. Snow removal continues on these roads. All state and interstate highways in the country are mainly passable. The ministry recommends drivers to use only winter tires. According to the information received from the Georgian side, the Larsi checkpoint is open to all vehicles, with the exception of trailers.
