Founding Parliament member ends hunger strike

Hovhannes Ghazaryan, a member of the Founding Parliament movement who was detained after the seizure of a police building by the Sasna Dzrer group, has stopped his hunger strike which he started seven days ago. “He discontinued the hunger strike on Monday evening. At present, Hovhannes is in a good mood right now,” Ghazaryan’s lawyer, Ani Chatinyan, said after meeting her client. Hovhannes Ghazaryan is accused of participating in clahses that occurred between demonstrators and riot police in Yerevan’s Sari Tagh district on July 29. The lawyer says no document or evidence has been produced to prove Ghazarya’s guilt.
