16 days of activism: Ministry of Health says NO to sex-selective abortion
Armenia’s Ministry of Health has joined 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence” Campaign. According to the UNFPA Armenia, on average each year Armenia potentially loses around 1400 future mothers. The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world. The campaign is held annually from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day.
