NKR MoD: Adversary uses sniper rifle
On December 2-3 overnight, on the Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the adversary violated the ceasefire regime about 90 times, firing more than 1000 shots from different caliber rifle weapons towards the Armenian positions. More intense violations were implemented from sniper rifles (about 80 shots). In the eastern direction the Azerbaijani armed forces used 60 mm mortar (1 shell). In order to suppress the adversary’s activity, the DA vanguard units took necessary steps and confidently carried out defense of the front line. As of now, the situation on the Line of Contact is calm. NKR MoD
