Lilit Mkrtchyan becomes Romania’s champion
Armenia’s leading chess player Lilit Mkrtchyan performed successfully at another chess tournament. Our GM took part in Romania’s Women chess club championship in Politehnica Iasi club. In the last 7th round, her team faced the leader of the tournament. Headed by Lilit Mkrtchyan, Politehnica Iasi won with 2.5:1.5 score and took the first place. Thus, our chess player became Romania’s champion. To remind, recently Lilit Mkrtchyan in Russian “Yugra” team won bronze medal at European chess club cup.
