Ara Abrahamyan cannot participate in 2017 elections despite his desire (video)
President of the Union of Armenians of Russia, Ara Abrahamyan, will not participate in the 2017 parliamentary elections in Armenia. He says he wanted and was going to run in the elections but he has health problems and is going abroad for treatment. “I would not like to be asked any more questions of this kind. Last time, I was given a very difficult question. Someone said, “Mr. Abrahamyan, whom are you going to will your heritage? Have I come here to bid adieu to villagers? No, let me tell you that my life is not in danger. I just need to receive lengthy treatment,” he said.
