Armenian backgammon players awarded
Armenian backgammon tournament was held in Yerevan, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of foundation of Republican Federation of Backgammon. According to the official website of “Vivaro” company, which is the general sponsor of the tournament, Karapet Ayvazyan from Etchmiadzin became the winner in the short game. Nshan Torosyan, who defeated Arthur Muradyan in the final round, became the winner in the long game. Sports reporter Razmik Avagyan took the third place. Gagik Gharibyan-Tigran Ohanyan couple was recognized the best. “Nor hayer” (New Armenians) team won the team championship.
