Magnus Carlsen again didn’t manage to gain victory
The World Chess Championship is underway in New York City. In the 7th round, World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen seized the initiative, though he played with black pieces. It seemed that the chess fans again would enjoy long-lasting and uncompromising struggle. But in the middle of the chess game, the Norwegian GM made some mistakes and Sergey Karyakin seized the initiative. After the 33rd move, the two sides ended in a draw. Thus, after 7 rounds the score is equal in the game- 3.5:3.5. The 8th round will be held today. Magnus Carlsen, who has always won, will play with white pieces.
