Teacher Educator Scott Thornbury to deliver talks and training sessions in Armenia (video)

British Council Armenia is happy to announce that British Council Armenia within its 2016 Teacher Development Programme will host Scott Thornbury the renowned and acclaimed teacher educator, writer, and speaker in Yerevan from 18 to 20 November to deliver talks and training sessions for Language Teaching specialists in Armenia. Who is Scott Thornbury? Scott is a teacher and teacher educator, with over 30 years’ experience in English language teaching, and an MA from the University of Reading. He is currently Curriculum Coordinator of the MA TESOL program at The New School in New York. His previous experience includes teaching and teacher training in Egypt, UK, Spain (where he lives), and in his native New Zealand. His writing credits include several award-winning books for teachers on language and methodology, as well as authoring a number of papers and book chapters on language and language teaching. He is series editor for the Cambridge Handbooks for Teachers (CUP). He is also the co-founder of the dogme ELT group and, currently, he is an associate of the International Teacher Development Institute (iTDi), an online campus dedicated to teacher development. Event Participation All the sessions are open to all interested teachers and educators - free of charge.  However, interested individuals need to register in the event by filling in our online registration form and indicating the sessions they would like to attend. After completing registration, please print / screenshot your registration reference info. You must then have the ref. info with you on each session’s day for in-venue registration validation. After completing registration, you will receive a confirmation letter sent to the email you have provided. In case you did not receive one, recheck your email address or check the spam folder.
