Novosti Armenia- Pobeda, Russian low-cost airline, will reject the permission for Rostov-on-Don-Yerevan flight due to the high cost of passenger service at “Zvartnots” airport, the airline’s source informed Interfax. Still in July “Pobeda” airline received permission for Rostov-on-Don-Yerevan regular flight for four times a week, but the flights haven’t been implemented. “We decided to cancel the flights to Yerevan, due to high cost of passenger service at the airport. In Zvartnots it costs EUR 50 per person, which is higher than our tariff,” said the interlocutor of the periodical. The interlocutor added that among Pobeda’s international flights (the airline implements flights in 9 directions to Europe and the CIS), the passenger service is EUR 10 per person on average, and in some airports it is free. At the same time, in October it became known that Rosaviation granted a permission to the airline to implement flights from Moscow to Gyumri. According to the information of Interfax, Gyumri’s “Shirak” airport provided discounts to “Pobeda”.
