BHK disapproves consolidation of opposition forces (video)
Head of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Naira Zohrabyan, did not like the idea of unification of opposition forces proposed by Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party. She says it will be impossible to unite all opposition forces around one party. BHK has already received a proposal to unite with the other opposition forces but the party does not want to join any political party at present. Besides, they think that the unification will affect the rating of the party candidates who are expected to garner votes for the party in communities. “Is it fair to include in the party list candidiates from other political parties who will enjoy the fruits of work of your partymates and be elected to parliament instead of them?” Naira Zohrabyan said. In its special convention held on October 30, the Civil Contract party expressed readiness to discuss with other forces that share their ideology the possibility of becoming one party.
