Gevorg Harutyunya wins silver in Iran
Armenian GM Gevorg Harutyunyan came second at the Paytakht Cup International Chess Festival held in Tehran, Iran. He scored 7 points out of 9 to share 1-2 places Our player scored 7 points out of 9 and shared 1-2 places with Homayoun Tofighi of Iran. The latter was name winner by additional indicators. Sixty-nine chess players, from eleven countries participated in the international chess festival which was held for the first time. There were 15 GMs among the participants.
