NSS 'covered up judge bribe case' (video)
As a result of operative-investigative measures taken by the National Security Service, Ishkhan Barseghyan, Judge of the Court of First Instance of Yerevan’s Shengavit administrative district, has been arrested for allegedly accepting bribe. Barseghyan was arrested in a pedestrian underpass in Yerevan the moment he was taking $1000 from a citizen after he agreed to rule in their favour. The transfer was carried out under the operational control of the National Security Service. The materials prepared in connection with the crime have been forwarded to the General Prosecutor's Office. Attention: The accused shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
