Eleven convicts receive ID cards
As a result of joint work carried out the Division on Social, Psychological and Legal Works at the Penitentiary Department of the Ministry of Justice, and Passport and Visa Department of the Armenian Police, another eleven inmates serving their sentence in the Kosh penitentiary institution received ID cards on October 27. A total of 449 convicts have receives ID cards since January 1, 2015. The ID cards allow prisoners to participate in various activities, specifically sign employment contracts, get age and disability support pensions, register marriages, sign agreements, etc. The process continues.
