“Minister cheated the director, the latter cheated us” (video)
The financial problems of “Nairit” Plant haven’t been solved after 1700 employees were dismissed from their jobs. “October ends, it is the forth month 261 people haven’t got their salary yet. They promised to give the two months’ salary, they even don’t inform us when the salary will be, whether it will be or not?” told Hrach Tadevosyan, Chairman of “Nairit” plant’s trade union. Today, at 8.30 in the morning, some of the employees of the “Nairit” plant gathered in front of the building of the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, demanding a meeting with Minister Ashot Manukyan. After the useless efforts of meeting with the Minister, the employees decided to move to the Government building where the Government session was underway. Here they were chanting loudly – “Manukyan!”, “Salary!” Most of Nairit employees refused to introduce details before the camera as they were afraid of losing their job.
