Azerbaijan has not expressed desire to join Eurasian Economic Union - Ambassador Volynkin

The Eurasian Economic Union is very attractive for many countries, and numerous countries have expressed desire to cooperate with the EEU, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin said on October 25 adding that 'Azerbaijan has not expressed such a desire.' He added that decisions in the Eurasian Economic Union are taken with the consent of all members states. Ambassador Volynkin said agreements to establish a free trade zone had been signed with Vietnam and Serbia. At present, they are drafting similar agreements with Iran, India, Mongolia, Israel, South Korea, Cambodia and Singapore.
