YSU opens classroom after perished soldier in Shoushi
On October 21, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the town of Shoushi and partook in the basic school after Khachatour Abovyan at a solemn ceremony of opening a classroom after the First degree Battle Cross order bearer Vardan Stepanyan, who heroically perished in the Artsakh Liberation War. Bako Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the Yerevan State University for bringing this initiative to life underlining that it contributed to the immortalizing the memory of nation's devotees and patriotic upbringing of the younger generation. NKR defense minister Levon Mnatsakanyan, minister of education, science and sports Slava Asryan and other officials were present at the event.
