“I think we need to allow him [Karen Karapetyan] to implement what he has written there,” Republican lawmaker Sukias Avetisyan said today when speaking about the new government program presented on Thursday, Oct. 20. The lawmaker believes that after the 2017 parliamentary elections the Republicans will again form a majority in parliament and Karen Karapetyan will continue to work as Prime Minister. In reply to a journalist what would happen to Serzh Sargsyan, the lawmaker said, “Serzh Sargsyan will find his place. That man has worked for this country for so many years and has done so many things… Who says he will not find his place? Sukias Avetisyan says some provisions in the program can be implemented in 2-3 months, while others need a bit longer time.
