Karabakh: Azerbaijani infiltration attempts repulsed
Azerbaijani troops initiated subversive attacks in the eastern and southern sections of the Line of Contact between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., on October 20. The NKR Ministry of Defense says its troops timely spotted the enemy’s sabotage-reconnaissance infiltration attempt and threw the saboteurs back to their positions, inflicting losses on the enemy. No casualties are reported on the Karabakh side. Besides the attempted subversion, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire 50 times overnight, firing 2800 rounds from various caliber weapons. In addition, Azerbaijani forces used DShK heavy machine guns to fire 200 shots in the southern direction of the frontline. The NKR troops continue controlling the situation along the entire length of the Line of Contact and are ready to thwart any sabotage by the enemy.
