School gym named after Artur Aleksanyan (video)
Primary School N7 in Gyumri held an event dedicated to Artur Aleksanyan, an Olympic Champion (2016) and bronze medalist (2012), a two-time World Champion (2014, 2015), and a three-time European Champion (2012, 2013, 2014). The school gym was named after the Gyumri-born Greco-Roman wrestler. Earlier in October, Gyumri's Council of Elders bestowed the title of “Honorary Citizen of Gyumri” upon Artur Aleksanyan.
