Naira Zohrabyan, Head of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction, today addressed a question to Tigran Mukuchyan, a candidate for the CEC Chairman. “You have announced that the Balasyan Alliance received 17 seats in the Gyumri Municipality and ‘it was in line with law.’ I do not know which law you cited because our and your Electoral Codes are quite different. With all possible and impossible calculations and all bonuses, the Balasyan Alliance could not have received more than 15 seats,” she said. Tigran Mukuchyan announced that the final results are usually published within seven days after election day. “I must say that nothing has changed in the regulations, and we had a similar picture in previous years,” he said. “I understand that the authorities of the Electoral Code can justify and substantiate everything, but I cannot understand why you should take one point from each party and give them to the Balasyan Alliance. In fact, the three other forces participating in the elections have 18 votes together,” Naira Zohrabyan said.
