Yerevan Mayor extends congratulations on World Day of Elderly People
"Dear compatriots Since 1990 progressive world has marked October 1 as the International Day of Elderly People. I am sure that in Armenian reality each day of the year belongs to our seniors. On this day we simply convey festiveness to our treatment and use this occasion to once more express our gratitude to those who decently deserves the right for happy and carefree old age. This day is also an occasion to refer to the problems of elderly people, to find ways of their solution. Our seniors, their problems have also been at the focus of attention of Yerevan Municipality and personally mine. There is no citywide, social or other program implemented by the Municipality in which elderly people are left without particular attention. Our team do everything to let our senior generation feel meaningful and active citizens of our beloved capital and due to their advice and experience participate in the development of our Sun City Yerevan. Dear seniors, You will certainly get lots of congratulations today. Joining all the best wishes I wish you to live a long, healthy and carefree life and be sure that we love and appreciate you and are always next to you," Taron Margaryan said in his address.
