Armenian Parliament passes amendments to Law on Structure of Government (video)
Armenia’s National Assembly today voted 2 to 77 to pass the amendments to the RA Law on the Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. There were 9 abstentions. Before the bill was put to the vote, Hrant Bagratyan, a lawmaker representing the Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction, said that during the Monday sitting several MPs made a number of observations and suggestions, and asked whether they would be accepted or not. NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan said the bill would have its second reading and they would consider all proposals then.
