National Olympic Committee of Armenia to say its opinion on incident at Rio 2016 Olympics
“It is upon the National Olympic Committee of Armenia to decide but as an agency we are to interfere to find a joint solution,” Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Gabriel Ghazaryan said today commenting on an incident that involved wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan. “When a decision is made, you will be informed about it. When the National Olympic Committee of Armenia makes a decision, you will be know it,” he said. Speaking about his personal opinion, the minister expressed his dissatisfaction. With regard to the poor condition of the sport schools in Armenia, Mr. Ghazaryan said, “Nine sport schools have been repaired and overhauled. Let me inform you that the sport school after Olympic Champion Artur Aleksanyan is included in the list and will be repaired in 2017.
