Policemen hit Arabist on head with shoes: “Ani”
One of 60 citizens, who were affected in Sari Tagh and were taken to different medical institutions this night, is Marat Yavrumyan- professor, Arabist. Before going to the rally, he wrote on his Facebook page, “Take the children and to Khorenatsi, the fall of one Kars is enough.” Five policemen attacked Marat, who went to the rally together with his 15-year-old daughter; the policemen started hitting him on head with shoes, as a result of which Marat received injures in head, legs and hands. Marat told his relatives that “it seemed that the policemen enjoyed hitting and were swearing meanwhile.” Details here
