Police: Gunshots were fired in different directions from seized police building
Police in Armenia have issued a statement commenting on the Friday clashes between riot police and hundreds of people near a police compound seized by the Sasna Dzrer armed group. "When the demonstrators tried to approach the security zone separated from the group and break through a police cordon Sari neighborhood, the gunmen inside the sized police compound opened fire in different directions. A police officer wounded near the police building taken to hospital. Information about other injured peopled is being clarified," reads the statement.
