NSS discloses more persons assisting Sasna Dzrer group (video)
Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) says it has discovered new persons assisting the Sasna Dzrer armed group that continues to keeping a patrol police regiment under control. “In particular, it was revealed that M.M., who is currently placed under arrest, was in contact with gunmen Armen Lambaryan and Martin Hakobyan, and planned to motivate participants of a July 24 rally to break through the barricade of on-duty police officers, join the gunmen and take the weapons they had seized from the police station. It was calculated that many citizens could die in the process. Considering the aforesaid, the NSS once urges citizens to avoid yielding to provocations of individuals, obstructing the work of law enforcement agencies and endangering their personal lives and safety. The NSS reminds and warns everyone that any unauthorized attempt to enter the blocked area will be prevented by lawful means,” the NSS said in a statement.
